Elizabeth MacDonald joined FOX Business Network (FBN) as stocks editor in September 2007. MacDonald is also the author of “Skirting Heresy: The Life and Times of Margery Kempe” (Franciscan Media, June 2014). Prior to joining FBN, MacDonald was a senior editor at Forbes Magazine, where she covered stock market and earnings news and created “The World’s 100 Most Powerful Women” annual list.
HONOREE: Nina Berman
Nina Berman is a native New Yorker as well as one of the best documentary photographers, authors, and educators of our generation. She has exhibited her photographs and videos in more than 100 international venues such as the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, the Portland Art Museum, Dublin Contemporary, and the Whitney Museum of American Art. In 2010 she exhibited her series Marine Wedding, iconic work on the Iraq war, at the Whitney Biennial. Nina is also the author of two monographs; Purple Hearts — Back from Iraq, and Homeland, which examine the aftermath of war and the militarization of American life. She is currently a professor at Columbia University and is a member of the Amsterdam based NOOR photo collective. HONOREE: Steven R. Flanagan
Dr. Steven R Flanagan is a nationally renowned expert in the field of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and is Professor and Chairman of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the New York University School of Medicine, and the Medical Director of the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine at the NYU Langone Medical Center. His medical expertise include traumatic brain injury to stroke rehabilitation, to adult and pediatric brain injury rehabilitation and spasticity therapy. Dr. Flanagan was rated one of the “Best Doctors” in the New York metropolitan area by New York magazine in 2009 and 2010, and by Castle Connolly from 2006 through 2009. He was also named to Castle Connolly’s list of “Best Doctors in America” in 2010. He has given numerous presentations both nationally and internationally, and has conducted research on various aspects of brain injury, including emotional control, fatigue and sleep disorders, and on the use of electrical stimulation to aid stroke recovery.
