Please join us for not one, but TWO photography exhibitions at Argo Tea Shop (75 University Place) on Friday, May 17th from 5:00-7:00 PM. The exhibition will feature work from two of our spring high school programs:
Photovoice
In partnership with the NYU McSilver Institute for Poverty Policy and Research Step-Up program, this exhibition features the work of high school students exploring the themes of identity, place, and self-expression.
Seeing Climate Change
In this innovative exhibition, students from the International High School at Union Square used their photography skills to document signs of climate change in the neighborhood around their school. Their collective exhibition piece features not only their images, but a map, and artifacts from the dialogues they engaged in throughout the project.
